Our model
How Kestrel funds research
Kestrel supports a standing group of investigators rather than a rotating set of single grants. Investigators share data, methods and early results with each other and with our Scientific Advisory Board, so a finding in one laboratory can be tested in another quickly.
Our funding concentrates on the early stages of drug discovery: finding causes, explaining mechanisms and validating therapeutic targets.
